What if I dispute my Drip Tours membership payment?
When a payment is disputed, your paid membership is instantly canceled, downgraded to a Free membership, and your funds are put on hold while our payment processor and your bank resolve the dispute.
Usually, the resolution process with your bank takes around 60-75 days. During this period, we are unable to take any action on your account until the dispute is fully resolved by your bank.
While the dispute is ongoing, our payment processor will liaise with your bank and furnish them with dispute documentation. This documentation includes details about your selected membership tier, previous payments, website usage, email interactions, and communications with our Member Success team. We will also provide our agreed-upon Terms of Use as part of the documentation.
For dispute-related updates, please contact your bank or credit card company.
If the dispute is resolved in Drip Tour’s favor, your paid membership will be reinstated, and you’ll receive the remaining benefits until it expires. Your account won’t renew or be charged again.
The effects of disputes on Drip Tours
Drip Tours is self-funded through memberships and never accepts kickbacks from airlines. Disputes negatively impact merchants, including us, a bootstrapped company focused on providing amazing travel deals for our members. Each lost dispute results in lost membership revenue and a substantial transaction fee paid to our payment processor. A high number of disputes could lead to termination of our merchant account, seriously impacting our ability to operate as a business.
What to do instead of disputing
- If you accidentally disputed your payment, contact your bank to cancel the dispute promptly.
- Please contact our Member Success team at support@driptours.com to notify us of the dispute cancellation and provide the documentation.
- After receiving the necessary information, we’ll handle the rest for you.
